Full Time Project Manager 


Location: Toms River (hybrid)


Dover Consulting is a mission-driven firm that helps local governments, nonprofits, and community organizations in New Jersey unlock funding and implement high-impact projects. We are seeking a flexible, highly organized full time Project Manager to join our growing team and help us deliver meaningful, community-focused results. Hours are 9-5 (with ability to work 9-3 and commit evening hours if necessary)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and track multiple client projects from kickoff to completion

  • Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and communication between internal staff, clients, and partners

  • Ensure tasks and milestones stay on schedule and on budget

  • Assist with document organization, follow-up tracking, and deadline monitoring

  • Support proposal development and grant reporting by coordinating inputs and timelines

  • Create and maintain clean project documentation and status updates

  • Provide proactive communication and flag issues before they become problems



Qualifications:

  • Proven project management and time management skills

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented

  • Tech-savvy and comfortable using project management tools (ClickUp experience is a plus)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Able to manage competing priorities and adapt to evolving client needs

  • Self-directed and resourceful, with the ability to work independently
