Full Time Project Manager
Location: Toms River (hybrid)
Dover Consulting is a mission-driven firm that helps local governments, nonprofits, and community organizations in New Jersey unlock funding and implement high-impact projects. We are seeking a flexible, highly organized full time Project Manager to join our growing team and help us deliver meaningful, community-focused results. Hours are 9-5 (with ability to work 9-3 and commit evening hours if necessary)
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and track multiple client projects from kickoff to completion
Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and communication between internal staff, clients, and partners
Ensure tasks and milestones stay on schedule and on budget
Assist with document organization, follow-up tracking, and deadline monitoring
Support proposal development and grant reporting by coordinating inputs and timelines
Create and maintain clean project documentation and status updates
Provide proactive communication and flag issues before they become problems
Qualifications:
Proven project management and time management skills
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Tech-savvy and comfortable using project management tools (ClickUp experience is a plus)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to manage competing priorities and adapt to evolving client needs
Self-directed and resourceful, with the ability to work independently
